NON-RESIDENT FIREARMS DECLARATION

IMPORTING YOUR FIREARM:

Bringing a firearm into Canada is a straight-forward process, as long as you follow the rules. Once we receive a deposit confirming the hunt, we will provide an invitation letter for attachment to your firearms permit request.

Arriving via Saskatoon: Click the links below and fill out both the Non-Resident Declaration Form and the Non-Resident Fax Cover. Applications can be processed in advance by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) via fax. Once both forms are completed, fax both documents to CBSA at 306-975-5917. The processed form will be returned to you via fax. A copy of the processed document is required upon arrival in Saskatoon. To pre-process your firearms import application your first point of entry must be Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Arriving via Other Port of Entry: Click the Non-Resident Declaration Form below and fill out the documents before reaching Canadian Customs. If you are entering Canada through a city other than Saskatoon, Saskatchewan do not sign the bottom.  You will need to sign the form in the presence of a Canadian Customs Officer.

Please note that while it's best to use 8.5"x14" paper, some printers will adjust the document automatically to the size in your tray.
